Following thunderous shows at previous Blizzard Entertainment events and in-game within World of Warcraft, Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain, an all-Blizzard rock band, will bring their customary madness, mayhem and metal to the Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational’s closing ceremony — their first live European appearance. The band’s pounding rock anthems will be followed by a Video Games Live symphonic performance, featuring favourite themes from Blizzard Entertainment games, played by a full orchestra and choir, with an epic multimedia backdrop.
Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain
Taking a break from their massive multi-world tour of Azeroth and Outland, Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain have come to Paris to rock everyone’s faces off at the closing concert of the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational. Prepare yourself for an evening of power, majesty, and metal! Horde and Alliance alike have been swarming Darkmoon Faire and moshing to the band’s classics, but only the honored few will get to hear the epic anthems performed by the band during their one-night-only appearance at the Worldwide Invitational.
Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain’s last non-Azerothian performance was the sole show of their In Through the Outland tour at BlizzCon 2007 in Anaheim, California. Since then, they’ve once again torn up the charts with their hit single, “Rogues Do It From Behind.” The crunching chords and pounding war drums of Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain will echo throughout the exposition centre on the night of Sunday, June 29th, when they will kick off the closing concert. Get there early, because seating is first-come, first-pwned!
For those who can't wait to catch another glimpse of the band in action, we've posted the video for their hit song "I Am Murloc," as well as the MP3 file of the song for your listening pleasure on our World of Warcraft website. Prepare to be musically face-melted!
