Summer 2009 Internships at Blizzard!
We are accepting applications for internships across multiple teams and in a variety of roles.
Internships will start in the month of June and will be 12 weeks long.

Applications are due by January 30. No applications will be accepted after this date.
At a minimum, you must:
- Be eligible to work in the US.
- Be currently enrolled in a university or college and working towards a degree.
- Meet the minimum qualifications and skill requirements of the job you're applying for.

Programming:
Blizzard Entertainment programmers work with game designers and artists to engineer virtual worlds that millions of gamers enjoy for many years. We have various positions open for programming interns and are looking for skill with C/C++, SQL, LUA, Peal, MFC, Python, RubyTCP/IDP, XHTML, and Java. Design:
A game designer's job can include many areas of game development, such as level design, quest writing, in-game item design, dungeon/raid content, world events, and AI scripting. More detailed position information is available on our
design internship page.
Art:
Work on in-game art, be it 3D models, concept art, character art, or animation. We have various positions open for art interns, and are looking for skill with programs such as Photoshop, Painter, 3ds Max, Mudbox, Maya, and Z Brush. Skills necessary will depend on the particular position - more detailed position information is available on our art internship page.
Production:
Producers lead project teams not only on the sheer practical level of budgeting and scheduling, but also as a day-to-day manager and facilitator for the people on the team. More detailed position information is available on our

Cinematics:
Blizzard's cinematics department creates our game trailers, and we are looking for interns with skills with programs and tools such as C/C++, MEL, TCL, Python, 3ds Max, Maya, and MaxScript. More detailed position information is available on our

Game Tester:
Game testers review all product releases to the general public and document any issues found before the product is deployed. Job duties include database entry, review of content and functionality of the product, and working closely with different development teams. Creative Development:
Creative development facilitates and assists in the development of Blizzard Entertainment's internal creative efforts; works with business partners in the development of our intellectual properties through the creation of licensed products such as the trading card game, board games, and novels.
