Configuring the Mac OS X Firewall



To open Blizzard's game ports for a Mac OS X 10.3 & 10.4  Firewall:

- Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences
- Click on Sharing
- Click on the Firewall tab
- Click on New
- Select Other for the Port Name
- Enter "4000, 6112-6118' for the Port Number, Range or Series
- Enter "Blizzard' for the Description and click OK
- Check the box for On next to Blizzard (4000, 6112-6118)

To open Blizzard's game ports for a Mac OS X 10.5  Firewall:

1. Open the Apple menu.
2. Open System Preferences.
3. In the System Preferences window, click on Security.
4. Click the Firewall tab. Click the Set access for specific services and applications button. Click the + (plus) sign.
5. Navigate to the specific game folder for the game you are trying to configure and select the games application file. Press Add.
6. Make sure the game is set to Allow incoming connections.
