Which patch should I use?
- The best way to obtain the patch is by connecting to Battle.net through the game. If you are having trouble connecting to Battle.net, please check the support site here.
- Some of the patch mirror sites listed below are not hosted or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment, and Blizzard Entertainment does not guarantee that the files available on these websites will operate properly with Blizzard's products. If you encounter any problems whatsoever in obtaining these files, please contact the hosting website.
- If you have installed the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Expansion, you only need to download and apply the patch listed under [Expansion].
- If you have not installed the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Expansion, you only need to download and apply the patch listed under [Original].
- If you are looking for old patches please check here [Expansion] or here [Original]. Please note: By installing the latest patch all previous updates will also be installed.
If you have registered the game on our http://www.battle.net/ website, you can download the game from there. This client installer is usually updated with a current version of the game which requires minimal patching (if any) after installation.
