Do I have to cancel a Trial Account?
No, once the trial time has expired your account will become frozen and you will be unable to access your characters. What is the TryWOW streaming trial client?
The TryWOW streaming trial client is a new offering that allows for a short up-front download of the game. While playing, the remaining game data streams in the background. This allows those with a fast enough internet connection to jump into the free trial more quickly.
How can I download the TryWOW client?
After you create a trial account, you will be prompted to download the game. At this time, the application will detect your internet connection speed and, if your connection meets minimum requirements, you will automatically download the "streaming" World of Warcraft game client. If your connection speed is below the minimum requirement, you will be prompted to download the full game in order to play the FREE trial. The streaming trial loads data in the background while you play, and needs certain connection speeds in order for the play experience to work correctly. Please keep in mind that, with the streaming client, you will occasionally experience brief pauses in the gameplay due to this background loading. If you decide you want to download the full version of the game client, even if your connection speeds are high enough for the streaming trial, you may do so here: [

I love this game and want to continue playing!
Once the time on your trial expires you will need to upgrade to a retail account to continue playing. To do this, you will need to log into your Account Management page to use a new retail Authentication Key. The Authentication Keys come in copies of World of Warcraft which can be purchased from retail stores or on the Blizzard Online Store.
Important things to know about the transition from guest pass account to retail account:
- Your account name and password will remain the same. You are not making a new account.
- Your characters and items will remain on that account, even if the trial expires, and will be available upon your return.
- You cannot use another trial key to extend your trial account access.
- Your Trial Restrictions will be removed.
- You will receive another free 30 days which comes standard with all classic retail versions of the game.
- If you are playing using the TryWOW streaming client, you will need to install the full game from the purchased CDs or DVD in order to continue playing. You cannot use the TryWOW client with a retail access key.
