Upon their arrival to Northrend, the Alliance and Horde discovered several new allies, including the walrus-like tuskarr. Nomadic by nature, the tuskarr roam the inhospitable shores of the frozen north, settling in marked fishing spots to ply their trade. The tuskarr revere their master fishermen for their ability to reel in unthinkably large catches from the frigid arctic waters, using every part of their haul to feed and shelter their people. Life in Northrend was never easy for the tuskarr, but recent attacks by the Scourge and kvaldir have threatened extinction. The Alliance and Horde's demonstrable stance against the tuskarr's enemies encouraged the tuskarr to back the foreigners' campaign in the region.
