Jun 5, 2010 Second Batch of BlizzCon Tickets Sold Out
The second batch of tickets for BlizzCon 2010 has now been sold out. If you weren't able to get tickets this year, keep in mind that coverage of the gaming festival will also be offered by DIRECTV as a Pay Per View event, available both via satellite and multi-channel Internet stream. Keep an eye on the BlizzCon website for updates on panels, exhibits, events, DIRECTV and Internet stream info, and more. We look forward to meeting some of you at the show!
Jun 4, 2010 StarCraft II Video Contest Winners Announced
We laughed, we cried, we covered our eyes, we moved to the music, and we stared (wide-eyed) in wonder at the marvelous visions displayed throughout this contest. In the end, there were more outstanding submissions than we could have hoped for. Even so, there were those that rose above their fellows. Without further ado, we are pleased to announce our winners. Congratulations to Peter Stoll! You've won a new Samsung LCD 46’’ 1080p LCD HDTV! We would also like to congratulate Ryan Humphries, Richard H Wang and Caleb Koch. The initial allotment of tickets for BlizzCon 2010 has now been sold out. If you weren't able to get tickets this time, you'll have another chance on Saturday, June 5 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, when a second batch goes on sale. Coverage of the gaming festival will also be offered by DIRECTV as a Pay Per View event, available both via satellite and multi-channel Internet stream -- keep an eye on BlizzCon site for more details in the near future.

Jun 1, 2010 BlizzCon Tickets on Sale Tomorrow
Just in case Wednesday, June 2 isn't circled on your calendar, here's a quick reminder that BlizzCon tickets will be going on sale tomorrow at 7 p.m. Pacific Time -- keep your eye on the ticket sales page tomorrow for the chance to get yours. If you are unable to purchase tickets tomorrow, a second batch will go on sale June 5 at 10 a.m. Pacific time. And for those unable to attend the show, in-depth coverage of BlizzCon will also be offered by DIRECTV as a Pay Per View event, available both via satellite and a multi-channel Internet stream.

BlizzCon 2010 will take place October 22 and 23 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and tickets cost $150 USD each. For further information, check out the official BlizzCon site.

May 22, 2010 Jay Mohr at BlizzCon 2010
Comedian and actor Jay Mohr will be returning to BlizzCon this year to serve as master of ceremonies for the live costume contest and other contests on the first night of the show. Jay is the star of the popular television show Gary Unmarried, and is known for his roles in movies like Jerry Maguire and for creating, producing, and hosting the successful TV series Last Comic Standing. We'll have more info to share about the Friday-night contests and other events at BlizzCon in the months leading up to the show, so keep your eye on BlizzCon.com for more details.
