Oct 28, 2010 Blizzard Comic Contest
The comic contest is back! If you've ever read the Sunday morning funny pages, then you already know what to do. Make a comic that will split our sides (a little artistic skill doesn't hurt either...) and you may be among one of three winners chosen every other month. We'll display the winners proudly on our websites and send their creators a good-as-cash gift card. We're opening the contest up to all Blizzard Entertainment franchises, so you can now create a fun, silly, or interesting comic based on the themes and characters from the Warcraft, Diablo, or StarCraft universes to enter. For details, or to submit your entry, hit up the official Blizzard Comic Contest page.

Oct 23, 2010 BLIZZCON 2010: DAY TWO REPLAY
Thanks for joining us for BlizzCon 2010! In case you missed out on some of Saturday’s panels, tournaments, and other events, here’s a quick summary of happened on the final day of the show:

Blood, bullets, and creep were flying at the grand finals of the BlizzCon 2010 World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, and StarCraft II Invitational tournaments. You can check out all of the brackets and winners at BlizzCon.com. Congrats to all the victors!

Attendees had a chance to test their lore knowledge against one of Blizzard’s own historians in a live game show of epic proportions, while several Blizzard artists drew traditional and digital artwork live on stage for attendees.

StarCraft II players who wanted to try to climb a hill instead of a ladder could participate in a community King of the Hill tournament on the show floor -- and vie for fame, glory, and some cool prizes. Meanwhile, World of Warcraft players got an opportunity to explore the future Azeroth in the Cataclysm demo area.

Players got a chance to ask the developers their burning questions about the Burning Hells, the Firelands, Char, and other not-specifically-fire-related topics at several open Q&A panels. Saturday also featured the Diablo III: Crafting Sanctuary, StarCraft II Art, and Blizzard Sound dev discussions. Visit www.blizzcon.com to check out our panel recaps.

Tenacious D rocked the Anaheim Convention Center at the closing concert, providing a fitting end to two days of epic entertainment.

Keep your eye on www.blizzcon.com for more post-show coverage. We’ll see you next time!
