• WORLD OF WARCRAFT: MISTS OF PANDARIA
  OPENING CINEMATIC

  • Date: Thursday, August 16 at 14:00
  • Description: Witness the world premiere of the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria opening cinematic, shown on giant screens at our booth in Halle 6.1 (B21). The unveiling will be accompanied by a performance from MANAO - Drums of China – the all-female Chinese drumming group that opened and closed the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
  
  

• MISTS OF PANDARIA LEVELING CONTEST

  • Date: Thursday, August 16 and Friday, August 17 at 11:00
  • Description: Participants will race to level up in the pandaren starting area of the Mists of Pandaria beta as fast as they can to win cool prizes.
  
  

• STARCRAFT II ACADEMY

  • Date: Friday, August 17 at 12:00
  • Description: Are you a StarCraft II noob? Don’t miss this educational session, where a famous StarCraft II personality will teach you how to get an edge on your opponent!
  
  

• ORCHESTRAL CONCERT

  • Date: Friday, August 17 at 15:00 and Saturday, August 18 at 16:00
  • Description: Experience the enchanting music from the World of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises played by a live orchestra.
  
  

• costume contest

  • Date: Saturday, August 18 at 12:30
  • Sign up: Send us an email containing your name, date of birth, and a brief description of your Blizzard-related costume at gamescom2012@blizzard.com before Friday, August 17. Don’t forget to put [costume contest] in the subject line. Please make sure to read the rules before entering. We’ll contact you via email if you’re selected to participate.
  • Description: Become your favorite character with a creative costume inspired by one of the Blizzard game universes. Be the goblin, zerg, pandaren, mage, monk, or demon hunter you’ve always wanted to be. Impress our judges and the winner will receive an XMG P502 PRO Gaming Notebook by Schenker, a SteelSeries Diablo® III Mouse, a SteelSeries 7G keyboard, a SteelSeries QcK Diablo® III Edition mouse pad, a SteelSeries Diablo® III Headset, and a Mega Bloks Deathwing’s Stormwind Assault set.
  
  

• dance contest

  • Date: Sunday, August 19 at 12:30
  • Sign up: To pre-register for our dance contest, send an email with the subject [dance contest] to gamescom2012@blizzard.com before Saturday, August 18. Be sure to include your name, date of birth, and the details of your chosen World of Warcraft dance. Please make sure to read the rules before entering. We’ll contact you via email if you’re selected to participate.
  • Description: Choose a World of Warcraft race and put on your dancing shoes! Get ready to waltz like a worgen, boogie like a blood elf, or tango like a tauren. In addition to email pre-registration, you can also sign up for the dance contest directly at gamescom by visiting our booth, located at Halle 6.1 (B21). Make sure to get there early to join in! Impress our judges and the winner will receive an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 6 Series graphics card, a Mega Bloks Goblin Zeppelin Ambush, a SteelSeries Diablo® III Mouse, a SteelSeries 7G keyboard, a SteelSeries QcK Diablo® III Edition mouse pad, and a SteelSeries Diablo® III Headset.
  
  

• 2012 EUROPEAN WORLD OF WARCRAFT
  INVITATIONAL FINAL

  • Date: Sunday, August 19 at 16:00
  • Description: Some of the planet’s best World of Warcraft PvP players will fight it out for spots in the Battle.net World Championship in China later this year. The competition will be streamed live from the Turtle Entertainment booth.
  
  

• LIVE DRAWING SESSION

  • Date: Once each day
  • Description: Watch as Blizzard artist Grace Liu demonstrates her drawing skills live on stage. Sessions take place at 12:00 on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and at 16:00 on Friday.
  
  

• DEVELOPER SIGNING SESSIONS

  • Date: Once per day, Thursday-Saturday
  • Description: Don’t miss your chance to take home autographs from Blizzard developers. Sessions take place at 14:30 on Thursday, 15:30 on Friday, and 16:30 on Saturday.
  
  

• STARCRAFT II SHOW MATCHES

  • Date: Twice per day, Thursday-Saturday, once on Sunday
  • Description: StarCraft II pro gamers from around the world will battle it out for your viewing pleasure, including players from our StarCraft II World Championship Series global tournament. Show matches take place on Thursday at 15:30 and 17:30, on Friday at 12:30 and 17:30, on Saturday at 10:30 and 17:30, and on Sunday at 13:00. Stay tuned for more details!
  
  

• WORLD OF WARCRAFT LIVE RAIDS

  • Date: Saturday, August 18 at 13:00 and Sunday, August 19 at 10:30
  • Description: Two well-known international World of Warcraft guilds will race to see who can annihilate the mightiest enemies fastest during exciting live raids.
  
  

• BLIZZARD QUIZZES

  • Date: Several times each day
  • Description: Show off your knowledge of all things Blizzard and win awesome prizes!
